Dolce & Gabbana, a leader in the world of luxury fashion, has an exceptional career opportunity available for an Jr. Account Executive. The role will support the Wholesale team and be focused on driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and developing strong relationships with wholesale clients to ensure optimal product placement and brand representation.

 

 Main Responsibilities:

 

  • Solely manage select accounts together with the wholesale manager, including but not limited to:
    • Budgets
    • Reorders
    • Detailed sales performance by account and door
    • Understanding customer needs / working with accounts to gather feedback

 

  • Assist in showing the collections in market to GMMs, DMMs and Buyers
  • Analyze buys submitted and work with buyers to appropriately budget according to performance
  • Manages order transmission with Customer Service and ensure orders are passed accurately
  • Provides on-time, accurate and meaningful weekly account sales performance data analysis (by-style selling report, sales to stock, delivery recaps)
  • Travel to accounts / doors to deliver Product Knowledge and meet with buyers, DSAs, managers and sales associates
  • Manage campaign preparation by providing SKU/Price Band Analysis based on seasonal sell in and sell through information, as well as Customer Performance Report Cards, including best/worst sellers, sales to stock and by-door account performance for End-of-Season Calls with the accounts
  • Create seasonal business-driving resources customized to each account (Master Buys, Product Knowledge Packages, and Specialty womCapsule Presentations) for the team to use for in-store meetings and to provide to account buying teams
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by providing on-time, accurate and solution-oriented information/communication to the accounts
  • Partner with buying teams to setup in season incentives
  • Be present in NYC locations at least twice a week to ensure product and space is maintained up to Dolce & Gabbana standards
  • Work with accounts to setup, manage and execute in store activations
  • Build relationships with our partners and be a representative of the Dolce & Gabbana brand to our clients

 

 Technical Competencies

 

  • Proven Wholesale experience in Shoes and Accessories
  • Solid understanding of retail math including mark-up, sell-through, OTB and gross margin
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel functions and formulas
  • Proficient in building presentations Power Point
  • Experienced with the customer base of major luxury fashion retail chains
  • Experience working with luxury RTW and accessories categories in a Wholesale environment

The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $80,000. Additionally, we offer the opportunity to take part in our comprehensive benefits program which includes: medical, dental, vision, life & disability insurances, 401(k) plan, FSA plans, and more. The total compensation amount for a candidate is based on factors including educational background, professional experience, and industry knowledge.

 

This position is classified as exempt for purposes of the Fair Labor Standards Act and the New York Labor Law, as this employee’s primary duties consist of performing office or non-manual field work directly related to management policies and/or general operations.  Moreover, it is expected of this position that the employee will customarily and regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment, utilizing his or her training, experience, and knowledge.
