Project Manager, Store Planning - NY Office

ROLE

The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing the execution of windows, pop-ups, in-store displays, and brand activations across North America. This role ensures that all visual projects reflect Dolce & Gabbana’s brand identity and are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Project Manager will collaborate with internal departments and external vendors and provide hands-on support for key markets including New York and surrounding regions.

MISSION

• Manage the full lifecycle of visual experience projects including windows, pop-ups, and activations across the U.S. and Canada.
• Coordinate with Milan HQ and internal design teams to ensure creative concepts are translated into technical specifications.
• Oversee planning, budgeting, and execution of visual installations in alignment with brand standards.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams including Retail, Visual Merchandising, Events, and Logistics to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Source and manage vendors for fabrication, logistics, and installation; evaluate bids and lead value engineering efforts.
• Conduct site visits and oversee installations to ensure quality, consistency, and brand integrity.
• Analyze completed projects and propose enhancements to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and visual impact.
• Stay current on industry trends and materials to drive innovation in visual storytelling.

PROFILE

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in project management within luxury retail, visual merchandising, or store planning.
• Proven track record in managing visual installations and activations from concept to completion.
• Strong understanding of architectural drawings, technical specifications, and installation processes.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Strong budgeting and cost-control expertise, including value engineering experience.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain brand standards in all deliverables.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in CAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.

The salary range for this role is $100K–$110K annually, plus variable commission. The total compensation amount for a candidate is based on factors including educational background, professional experience, and industry knowledge.
