ROLE
The Visual Merchandising Manager shapes Dolce & Gabbana’s brand expression by translating global guidelines into locally resonant, commercially effective visual storytelling. This role balances creativity with business impact, driving innovation, consistency, and market adaptation. The Manager leads cross-functional collaboration, sets clear standards of execution, and uses performance insights to continuously elevate windows, in-store presentations, and wholesale environments.
MISSION
Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Define and implement regional visual merchandising strategies aligned with global brand directives and commercial objectives.
- Lead the development of innovative visual concepts that enhance customer experience and drive sales.
- Partner with global teams to adapt guidelines for local markets while maintaining brand integrity.
- Oversee execution of visual standards across retail and wholesale environments, ensuring consistency and excellence.
- Analyze performance metrics and market feedback to optimize visual impact and ROI.
- Manage seasonal launches, window campaigns, and in-store storytelling initiatives.
- Mentor and guide Visual Merchandisers, fostering creativity and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Retail, Buying, Planning) to maximize visual opportunities and business results.
- Serve as a brand ambassador, championing Dolce & Gabbana’s identity in every visual touchpoint.
PROFILE
- 5+ years Visual Merchandising experience in a specialty retail /luxury environment
- Strong creative vision combined with commercial acumen and store planning.
- Experience with Ready-to-Wear, Handbag, and Footwear categories.
- Experience with window installations.
- Outstanding interpersonal, management, communication and organizational skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with design tools is a plus.
- Flexible and willing to travel as needed.
The salary rate for this role ranges from $100,000 - $115,000 annually. Additionally, we offer the opportunity to take part in our comprehensive benefits program which includes: medical, dental, vision, life & disability insurances, 401(k) plan, FSA plans, and more. The total compensation amount for a candidate is based on factors including educational background, professional experience, and industry knowledge.
