Accounts Payable Specialist

Dolce & Gabbana, a leader in the world of luxury fashion, has an exceptional career opportunity available for an Accounts Payable Specialist.  The role will support our Finance team with day-to-day functions and is responsible for the full cycle of accounts payable activities, month-end accruals, and vendor reconciliations. The position is based in NYC and has a hybrid work schedule.  

Main Activities and Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for entering suppliers’ invoices 

• Responsible for booking invoices for auto debit accounts 

• Responsible for self-assessment of use tax 

• Work closely with 3rd party vendors to review statements and reconcile accounts 

• Responsible for running monthly AP Aging report 

• Reconcile AP Aging to GL (non-intercompany) 

• Maintain accurate records and control reports 

• Responsible for recording the monthly accruals 

• Ensure timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers 

• Assist during interim and year-end audits 

Qualifications:  

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Look Ups, etc.) 

• Previous experience with general ledger and month-end close, Accounts Payable 

• Strong clerical background including typing and data entry skills 

• Strong orientation to innovation and efficiency in managing the Accounts Payable flows and payment methods 

• Understanding of U.S. generally accepted accounting principles   

• Knowledge of Dynamics 365 is a plus

The salary range for this role is $60,000 - $65,000 annually. The total compensation amount for a candidate is based on factors including educational background, professional experience, and industry knowledge.
