Press Review Specialist

Dolce & Gabbana, a leader in the world of luxury fashion, has an exceptional opportunity available for a Press Review Specialist based in Milan.  

The Press Review Specialist, reporting to the Head of Internal Communication & Press Review is responsible for monitoring and analysing the Brand news coverage and providing internal reports, according to the company guidelines.

Main Activities And Responsibilities

• Guarantee a consistent monitoring of the magazines and their movement within the company’s departments, ensuring a proper newsstand service.
• Maintain an efficient relationship with external stakeholders (e.g. publishers and distributors) and the other departments of the Global Marketing and Communication division.
• Play an active role in the organization of the digital and print archive, maintaining an accurate and well-organized database of press clippings and relevant articles for reference and analysis.
• Maintain an efficient recording system of newspapers, magazines, and other periodicals in order to keep track of information and ensure an accurate organization and storage.
• Actively support in the daily press review activities (with a focus on newspapers and magazines), identifying relevant news, key articles in collaboration with the rest of team.
• Ensure an efficient monitoring of news coverage from a variety of sources (e.g print, online and broadcast media) to identify emerging trends.
• Guarantee accurate reporting activities.

Key Requirements & Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, media studies ore related field.
• Proficiency in English (proficiency level) and Italian. The knowledge of a second language is considered a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of the fashion publishing industry.
• Previous working experience in the role at least 3 years, gained in Press Offices, agencies, magazine publishers.
• Passion for Fashion & Luxury industry.
• Exceptional team-working attitude and ability to work effectively in a fast -paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Flexible to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
