The IT E-Commerce Back End Process Analyst will join the IT team with the objective of ensuring functional ownership of the back-end components of the eCommerce platform.
The role involves close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the correct management of Salesforce Commerce Cloud and OMS.

The role supports the evolution of the user experience and the proper functioning of back-end flows, working in coordination with development partners and contributing to the continuous improvement of platform performance in line with business needs and end-customer expectations.

The position is responsible to ensure stability of the eCommerce platform’s back-end systems. In particular, it oversees end-to-end processes related to checkout, payments, taxation, and fraud prevention, ensuring proper integration between Salesforce Commerce Cloud and core systems (e.g. Adyen, Avalara, Riskified, Identity & Social Login).

The role can be based at our offices in Milan or Legnano and requires full-time onsite presence.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage back-end processes and integrations related to checkout, payments, tax, and fraud.
  • Ensure proper armonization between Salesforce Commerce Cloud and external systems.
  • Monitor performance, stability, and reliability of back-end flows.
  • Identify anomalies and support corrective and evolutionary actions.
  • Support the manager in coordinating vendors and technology partners involved in back-end systems.
  • Ensure integration standards, solution quality, and delivery priorities.
  • Support application evolution in line with business needs, regulatory requirements, and customer experience.
  • Collaborate with IT, Finance, Legal, and Digital teams.

 

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, Marketing, Management, Economics, or equivalent.
  • Fluent in English language.
  • 1–3 years of experience in e-commerce development or in fast-paced, performance-driven retail environments.
  • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud back-end and Order Management Systems (OMS).
  • Knowledge of payment and fraud prevention systems (preferably Riskified).
  • Functional understanding of APIs and system integrations.
