Fashion Designer Knitwear

Position Description

The chosen figure will be placed within the Knitwear Style Office and will carry out the following main activities:

-research;

- development of creative proposals in line with the identity of the Brand and the collections;

 - development of drawings and/or putting in beauty of drawings useful for the transfer of information to product offices and departments interested in the correct development of the collection in compliance with the required times;

- collection study;

- support during defect phases;

- participation in collection and fashion show coordination activities.

Main Responsibilities

Ensure constant and timely research in line with the Brand identity and with the collections in progress;

develop creative proposals and/or putting in place drawings useful for passing information to the product offices involved and/or to the departments involved in the process of developing the collection in compliance with the required times and creative identity.

Skills

The ideal profile must possess the following skills/abilities:

strong sensitivity in research

excellent skills in manual drawing

excellent skills in using the Adobe package

Knowledge of yarns and knitting stitches

Requirements

The ideal candidate has:

Degree and/or diploma in Fashion Design with specialization in Knitwear, plus Classical and/or Artistic High School training obtained before graduation. and/or specialist diploma.

Excellent knowledge of the History of Art and Costume.

Excellent knowledge of the History of Fashion.

Previous experience: gained in similar contexts as a designer and/or illustrator at Knitwear Style Offices.
