Job description

The selected candidate will be part of the Retail Department and will report directly to the Store Director.

The role is responsible for supporting the Store Director in overseeing all Back of House operations, ensuring stock accuracy, operational excellence, compliance with company procedures, and the efficient management of logistics and inventory activities within the boutique.

 

Key responsibilities

• Support the Store Director in coordinating and supervising all Back of House activities, ensuring operational excellence and compliance with company standards.

• Ensure accurate inventory management, stock control and stock movements, maintaining the highest level of stock accuracy.

• Oversee goods receiving, transfers, returns and shipping activities, ensuring timely and efficient execution.

• Monitor stock organization and storage processes, guaranteeing optimal product availability and operational efficiency.

• Lead and support the BOH team, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting continuous development and training.

• Ensure the correct implementation of company procedures related to stock management, loss prevention and operational compliance.

• Collaborate closely with the sales team to support business needs and ensure seamless product availability for clients.

• Monitor and analyze stock performance indicators, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions when necessary.

• Coordinate inventory counts and stock audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company requirements.

• Support the Store Director in managing operational projects and process improvements aimed at enhancing efficiency and service levels.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies and operational guidelines.

• Act as a key point of reference for all operational matters, ensuring effective communication between Front of House and Back of House teams.

 

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in retail environments, with previous supervisory or managerial responsibilities within Back of House, Operations or Stock Management functions, preferably in luxury or premium brands.

• Strong knowledge of stock management processes, inventory control and retail operations.

• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, develop and support team members.

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with strong attention to detail.

• Experience in coordinating logistics activities, stock movements and inventory procedures.

• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to monitor KPIs and operational performance indicators.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different functions.

• Fluency in Italian and English; additional languages will be considered a plus.

• Proficiency in retail systems, inventory management tools and Microsoft Office applications.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high operational standards.

• Punctuality, accuracy and operational autonomy.

• Team-oriented attitude and openness to collaboration.

Indicative salary range: starting from a Gross Annual Salary of €45,000 + 15% MBO
