Dolce & Gabbana, a leader in the world of luxury fashion, has an exceptional career opportunity available for a Global Visual Merchandiser Manager based in Milan. The successful candidate will be part of the Global Visual Merchandising Department.

 

Main Activities and Responsibilities:

  • Embrace Company VM strategy, creating relevant guidelines accordingly in order to share the creative vision with the Global and Regional teams
  • Ensure execution of all VM concepts across relevant territory in line with guidelines and timelines from HQ, through regular store visits and reporting
  • Guarantee visual excellence and consistency in product display across all Regions, including retail stores, department stores, and Wholesale
  • Check and oversee the photo reports (VM reports) received from Regional teams and share feedback in order to improve
  • Understand Regional needs in order to suggest strategies and local adaptations to VM Director
  • Partner with Merchandising department in order to receive the necessary information for a consistent seasonal product display, in accordance with the product and image strategies                      
  • Manage and coordinate the seasonal VM training to all markets
  • Ensure creative vision that supports and drives commercial results
  • Lead the Global team in managing all VM KPIs
  • Oversee of monthly store visit schedule of team members
  • Coordinate the dedicated team and oversee their work, ensuring high standards are maintained across the business
  • Involvement in VM aspects of corporate events: Alta Moda, Alta Sartoria, Alta Gioielleria, press resee, important in-store events etc.
  • Manage new store openings Visual Merchandising processes
  • Closely partner with Merchandising, Retail, Wholesale and Marketing department in order to receive the necessary information for a consistent seasonal product display, in accordance with product and image strategies               

 

Key Requirements & Competencies:

  • Solid prior experience in a similar WW role within the luxury industry
  • Fluent English
  • Ability to both communicate and negotiate effectively
  • Strong luxury feeling and contemporary insight 
  • Photoshop and Powerpoint knowledge
