Financial Reporting Specialist

Dolce & Gabbana is looking for a Financial Reporting Specialist to be part of the Group Financial Office. He/she will join the team dedicated to payables accounting of Group foreign-European branches, in accordance with deadlines and compliant with accounting and tax regulations.
Main activities and responsibilities
- Verify the accuracy of accounting data through reconciliation between general ledger and management subsystems (primarily CEGID), as well as by analyzing variances compared to previous periods.
- Prepare and record adjustment entries between Group accounting principles (GAAP) and local accounting standards.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax obligations required by the legislation of the European country in which the Dolce & Gabbana Legal Entity/Branch is established.
- Verify inventory movements for the purpose of calculating the weighted average cost (CMP).
- Liaise with auditors and external consultants, as well as with internal stakeholders (e.g., Consolidated Financial Statements Office).
- Support the preparation, dissemination, and proper implementation of procedures in cases of civil and tax impacts.
Requirements
- Economy degree
- At least 3 years of professional experience in general accounting/financial statements, better if in retail industries;
- Professional proficiency (C1) in English, German and Italian, both written and spoken, is mandatory;
- Solid knowledge of Accounting Principles and Financial Statement;
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office package (especially MS Excel);
- Knowledge of an additional language will be considered a plus;
- Experience with SAP will be considered a plus.
